10th Year Anniversary Retreat

It was exactly ten years ago – May 7 to 10, 2015 – that Central Florida MQG retreated for the first time at Luther Springs Retreat Center in Hawthorne, Florida. Our MQG chapter, along with several people from the Gainesville MQG, were the FIRST group of quilters to ever retreat at Luther Springs!

Here is “Our First Retreat” blog post from 2015. Have we changed?

Our tenth anniversary retreaters were, from top left: Mel, Janice (AKA Mamacita), Karen E., Beth, Lora, Judy, Karen T. Linda Sheryl, Cindy, Betty, and Patti. From front left: Sandi, Anne, Peggy, Barb, Dee, and Linda Darlene.

We had a marvelous time. The best way to share that is though pictures.

Five Drawer Caddy Cover-making was the focus for several of our members. Though four members have previously made one, instructions are now available for members exclusively through our CFMQG Discord server.
