Members are reminded that Thursday, December 18 is our last online sew-together for 2025. Our Sewacord begins at 7 PM and we’ll continue until 9 PM, or whenever everyone tuckers out.
This is such a fun activity! Sew from home – on your machine, or by hand – while we socialize and catch up on everyone’s doin’s.

If you’re uncertain about how to access Discord, with just a few clicks you’ll be in.
- Choose your device, knowing that you want the largest screen available for seeing everyone. Though a mobile phone works, you won’t see everyone as well.
- Presuming you’re going with a laptop or a notebook, go to your favorite Google or Safari home page. Type in: https://discord.com
- When you get to the Discord home page, on the upper right tap “Open Discord.”
- When you see a QR code, hold your cell phone camera over the code. It will take you directly to the Central Florida MQG Discord page.
- Tap the Central Florida MQG logo on the left. You’ll see what’s below.
6. Tap “voice-or-video-chat-here.” You’re in!
