A whole day (10 AM to 3 PM) of sewing, chatting, eating delicious apple-braised pork sandwiches (á la Donna) and homemade brownies (á la Peggy), talking about free motion quilting, and just enjoying ourselves is a day well-spent.
We also got a photo of our lovely finished QuiltCon 2026 Community Outreach Challenge Quilt. Everyone ooh’ed and aah’ed over it. Simply beautiful! Thank you, everyone, who was involved in making this!
After this quilt is displayed, hopefully at QuiltCon Raleigh, it will be donated for fundraising to New Life Christian Church, Wildwood, Florida.
