WORKSHOP POLICIES
WAITING LIST – Effective January 1, 2023
- a waitlist will be created for each workshop offered
- If a workshop waitlist is 5 or more people, an additional workshop may be offered at the discretion of the workshop presenter. If the presenter chooses to offer an additional workshop, the nearest possible date will be determined with those on the waitlist. The workshop presenter will be compensated according to the number of participants in the additional workshop.
WORKSHOP REFUND POLICY – Effective January 1, 2023, workshop purchasers who cancel must notify Central Florida MQG by email at centralfloridamqg@gmail.com no less than 72 hours before the start of a workshop.
Central Florida MQG will attempt to arrange a private resale of the space from the online wait list if spaces have sold out.
No refunds will be issued by Central Florida MQG.
Due to the 72 hour workshop cancellation policy, the Zoom link for virtual workshops will be emailed to all registered participants at least 48 hours prior to a workshop.
It is the student’s responsibility to make sure they get the information/link. Let Central Florida MQG know if you don’t receive the link.
IN-HOUSE WORKSHOPS – A class taught by a CFMQG member to CFMQG members is considered an in-house workshop.
Workshops are based on 10 registered members at $20 per person.
The instructor receives $200.
If the instructor opens enrollment to more than 10 students, additional $20 fees will be paid directly to the instructor.
If fewer than 10 people register, CFMQG will cover the difference and the instructor will be paid $200.
If a room must be rented for a workshop, standard $20 workshop fee will be raised accordingly, to cover rent.
