All of us here at Central Florida Modern Quilt Guild have been busy making quilts and enjoying the process. Some have been taking virtual classes, while some have taken in-person classes. Many of the members have been participating in challenges, both within the guild and across the country. And some of the members submitted quilts to Quilt Con 2023 Atlanta and were accepted.
Congratulations to Jane @gonequiltinginflorida and Linda @flourishingpalms who both received notification that quilts they made had been accepted into Quilt Con. They now have the huge task of sewing sleeves on their quilts and getting them off to Austin prior to January 11th so they can be judged.
Congratulations Ladies! I’m sure we will have some more photo shots from the floor of Quilt Con as well as more details about the quilts in the new year. Needless to say, Central Florida is very proud of the accomplishments of these two as well as everyone else that submitted a quilt and learned that it didn’t attract the jury judges eyes. The talent continues to inspire each of us.
