May 15 Meeting
It’s official. For the time being, we’re planning in-person meetings at Lake Miona Park.

Our next regular meeting is Saturday, May 15, starting at 10 am. Everyone is welcome to attend – guests too! We intend to discuss future meeting sites/possibilities, have Show and Tell (no more than three items per person, please), and enjoy a good catch-up.
Wear your name tag, and bring a lawn/bag chair.

Here’s the Show and Tell form to print and complete – one form per item, thank you!
In the event that the weather appears questionable (as it did in April), please check your email in case President Karen moves us to an alternate location. IF she makes that decision, we’ll meet at the home of Ardie W. (as we did in April). Ardie’s address will be provided in the email.
May 22-23 Virtual Quilt Sampler
Our chapter is registered to participate in the All Star Virtual Quilt Sampler sponsored by the Global Quilt Connection.

The event will be online, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, Saturday, May 22, and Sunday, May 23. In each three-hour segment, nine different instructors will present information and a demo on a wide variety of topics: walking foot quilting; quilt photography; hand appliqué; ruler quilting; and improv triangles… to name a few.
Though the event has been advertised so participants can attend or not attend whatever topic interests them, among our members it’s been discussed that there’s a possibility that if you leave the event, you may not be able to get back in.
So, the recommendation is to: 1) register with President Karen; 2) attend on May 22 and May 23; and 3) remain in attendance! Do not leave either Zoom event once you’re in!
Here’s where you can find detailed information with instructor’s names and topics.
