This Saturday morning, April 17, at 10 am, our monthly meeting is at Lake Miona Park, 10501 County Road 115 (off CR 472E), Oxford, Florida. This is the same place we met for our December 12, 2020 holiday meeting.
Please bring two quilts: 1) the 2020 quilt you made for our Mid-Century Modern Challenge; and 2) the 2021 quilt you made for our Modern Scrap Challenge.
Along with your challenge quilts, please bring a written description of your quilt. You know, the usual info from our Show and Tell form:
- quilt name
- dimensions
- original design or pattern information
- modern characteristics
- particular fabrics, batting, threads used
- who quilted it, whether on a domestic machine or longarm
Also bring a lawn chair or bag chair, and a mask – requested as a courtesy for those who may not yet be vaccinated.
Then, let’s all do this!
Of course, when we see each other’s quilts, we’ll say “That’s absolutely stunning!”
