Twenty Central Florida MQG quilt makers joined in our Monday evening Zoom meeting! (Two members weren’t available during picture-taking.)

Feel Good Fibers owners Tom and Kim Soper, joined us to talk about their online business that began in February 2020. Feel Good Fibers is a website where quilters can destash fabrics, whether it’s to organize and pare down their stash, or make a little money. The website is also where fabricholics can find older, yet still highly sought-after modern fabrics for both quiltmaking and garment sewing.
Some of us already know Kim Soper as @lelandavestudios, and because we saw her wonderful (Abraham) Lincoln quilt at QuiltCon Savannah, in 2017.

So, check out their business at www.feelgoodfibers.com where you just might find something to add to your stash. Or maybe have a Marie Kondo moment!

Five quilters shared Show and Tell. Five quilters had BOM block pictures to share. We know more of you are making, so plan now to take pictures of your modern finishes for our October 12 meeting. Share with us! Since we can’t meet in person, we simply need to see what you’ve been making!
NOTE TIME FUTURE CHANGES! Based on general conversation during our meeting, we have changed the start times for both the Saturday Sew-In and monthly meeting. (Our online calendar reflects these changes.)
Saturday Sew-in, October 10 – 1:00 pm start time
Monday Meeting, October 12 – 6:30 pm start time
Members will receive their secure Zoom link via email prior to the activity.
